Messier Object List

Here is a Messier Object List put together by our own Wes Covalt. Print it out and start checking off the objects as you find them. You can have your own mini-Messier Marathon any clear night of the year!

This is also an excellent tool if you are preparing to do the Marathon in March, 2012. Like all marathons, there is training involved. Head out on a clear night and try to find as many of the objects as you can. For the Marathon night, you will have to be fast to catch the first bunch of Messier Objects before they set in the west.
